EMILIO ISGRÒ - ISGRÒ DANTE AND SICILY

The exhibition "Isgrò Dante and Sicily" will be inaugurated on the 11th of December at Villa Zito in Palermo, headquarter of Fondazione Sicilia, promoter of the event. Curated by Marco Bazzini and Bruno Corà, it will open to the public from December 12, 2021 until March 14, 2022. The exhibit will showcase about twenty artworks by the Sicilian master, ranging from the 1960s to today. DANIEL SPOERRI AT S.M.A.K. MUSEUM OF GHENT

Artwork by Daniel Spoerri «Tableau Piège», 1972 (Snare-Picture) is now on display at S.M.A.K. City Museum for Contemporary Art in Ghent, inside the exhibition “POP ART. From Warhol to Panamarenko” open until May 8, 2022.Spoerri’s artwork is both a tangible souvenir of a dinner with friends and a subtle criticism of the consumer society, elevating banal utensils to the status of art.Pop art is indeed a visual response to the cultural changes that took place in the 1960s like  consumerism, mass consumption, sexual morality, technological progress and  gender equality.

HERMANN NITSCH AT MINISCALCHI-ERIZZO MUSEUM FOUNDATION

DANIEL SPOERRI - THE THEATER OF OBJECTS
