Gao Zhen (Jinan, Cina, 1956) and Gao Qiang (Jinan, Cina, 1962) both settled in Beijing in 2002 and make the "brotherhood" a figure of their art, devising for example the World Hug Day, a pacifist performance that provides hugs between strangers in places symbol of revolutions against war and oppression. Among the most famous works Miss Mao, a caustic caricature of Mao Tse Tung in fiberglass, and the photographic series Sense of Space.
