Wainer Vaccari (Modena, 1949) is an Italian painter known since the Eighties for his pictorial series of Capricci, inspired by a Mannerist painting of Nordic style. Later, after the association with the historical Galleria Mazzoli in Modena and the art critic Achille Bonito Oliva, he was invited in great exhibitions throughout Europe. His way to paint oscillates between fanciful but traditional subjects and figures transfigured as humanoids of cyberspace.
