Macoto Murayama (Kanagawa, 1984) combines Technology with Botanical Art in order to cultivate the "inorganic flora" conceived by him. He starts his creative process by observing under the microscope and dissecting real flowers, and then he uses the 3d computer graphics to recreate the flowers. The resulting artwork is not only an image of a plant, but the representation of the intellect’s power and its elaborate tools, used for scrutinizing nature.
