Mario Schifano, voracious consumer of images, used to compulsively shoot photographs of the television screen and then re-elaborate them in a series of works entitled Snapshots. This photo 10x15 cm is one of many examples. Here the artist shapes a marker on the photographic paper with one of his recurring themes: The Tree of Life, which embrace the television image as a backdrop.
